Tamiya, ein egomaniacal samurai, bestimmt wieder zu vereinen mit seiner Frau Oiwa, die ihm übrig ist, nachdem ein Mord-Skandal. Wenn Ihre Schwester Osode ausgetrickst in die prostitution durch eine Masseurin, Tamiya gemeinsam mit seinem Freund Naosuke in dem er die situation in einem plot zurück zu gewinnen Oiwa, die erschwert, wie ein neues Mädchen ins Bild. Tamiya Intrigen, Ungerechtigkeiten, nach hinten losgehen in form von onryo, einem Rache Suchenden Geist, und doch ist der Film ein horror ist ganz der Mensch sich auszudenken. Basiert auf dem berühmten japanischen Kabuki-Spiel Tokaido Yotsuya Kaidan, geschrieben von Tsuruya Nanboku IV im Jahr 1825.
