Sommer 1981, kurz vor Beginn der großen Ferien. In wenigen Wochen wird der elfjährige Jan mit seinen Eltern aus einem kleinen fränkischen Dorf in die große Stadt Düsseldorf ziehen. Letzte Gelegenheit, um endlich mit seinen besten Freunden Stevie und Basti die geheimnisvolle Kattler-Villa zu erkunden. Auf dem Dachboden finden die drei eine Karte, die offenbar den "Weißen Falken" gehörte. Diese Jugendbande aus den 70er Jahren hat im Ort noch immer einen legendären Ruf. Doch niemand scheint zu wissen, was mit ihrem Anführer Peter passierte, der nach der Trennung der "Weißen Falken" auf mysteriöse Weise verschwunden ist. Ob sein Verbleib etwas mit der Höhle in der Fränkischen Schweiz zu tun hat, die auf der Karte verzeichnet ist? Und was verbirgt sich wirklich hinter dem "Schatz der weißen Falken"?
