Ein low-budget-Industrie-film gedreht, für die Eastman Kodak company. Die mild Lustiger film, der zeigt, alle Probleme von einem Mann namens Lester Snapwell (Keaton), der in den späten 1860 ' s versucht zu fotografieren, seine Freundin Clementine und Ihre Mutter. Allerdings hat er auch viel Mühe mit dem sperrigen Kamera. Dann ist er versehentlich getötet und Vater Zeit transportiert ihn nach vorne in der Zeit. In jedem aufeinander folgenden Zeitraum er kämpft mit der fotografischen Technik des Tages. Dann kommt er in den 1960er Jahren, wo der neue Kodak Instamatic" Kamera setzt all seine Mühen, um sich auszuruhen.
