Twenty to Life: The Life & Times of John Sinclair (2004) Kostenlos Anschauen
John Sinclair machte sich zunächst aus seiner kleinen Stadt in Michigan hintergrund zu Schmieden eines legendären Kurs in den 1960er Jahren als ein kultureller Aktivist, manager der MC5 und Vorsitzender der White Panther Party. Eines der ersten Opfer des "war on Drugs", die vor 20 Jahren zum Leben im Gefängnis für die Erteilung der zwei Gelenke um eine undercover-Polizistin, Sinclair diente 29 Monaten ein 9-1/2-zu-10-Jahres-Satz vor seinem juristischen Sieg auf die Berufung änderte das Gesetz für gut. Die lange Kampagne geführt, die von Sinclair gipfelte in einem massiven John Sinclair Freedom Rallye-Headliner von John Lennon & Yoko Ono, Stevie Wonder, Bob Seger, Phil Ochs, Allen Ginsberg und Bobby Seale führte im Sinclair ' s Entlassung aus dem Gefängnis am Dezember 13, 1971-nur drei Tage nach dem Ereignis.
