Valeria Sarmiento (geboren 29. Oktober 1948) ist ein film-editor, Regisseur und Drehbuchautor am besten bekannt für Ihre Arbeit in Frankreich, Portugal und in Ihrer Heimat Chile. Sie arbeitete sowohl in film und Fernsehen, Regie 20 Spielfilmen, Dokumentationen und TV-Serie'. Sie ist die Witwe des Chilenischen Regisseurs Raúl Ruiz (1941-2011), mit denen Sie arbeitete jahrzehntelang als normaler editor und co-Autor.
