A well-to-do-family ' s only son, Mathieu Delmas, has been missing for ten years. Each year, he calls his mother, Olivia, on her birthday, promising to return one day. On her most recent birthday, his mother believes she sees him right outside during one such call, and chases him down the street, only to collapse with a heart attack.
