Plötzlich, während der bereits dunklen und turbulenten Jahren der deutschen Besatzung in Griechenland, die müde und mittellos, Fabrikarbeiter, Thanasis, findet sich verstrickt in eine lebensbedrohliche Gewirr von Lügen. Ständig unter den Nationalsozialisten, schwere Daumen, das mysteriöse verschwinden einer geliebten tomcat in Kombination mit einem absurd Anklage gebunden ist, um Angelegenheiten zu erschweren, warf die Arme Thanasis direkt in die Eingeweide der Kommandantur, zu schmecken, aus Erster Hand die Unterdrücker warme und großzügige Gastfreundschaft. Nun, die Beamten des Dritten Reiches im Krieg zerstörten Athen vermuten, dass es mehr Thanasis als das Auge, und, wie üblich, gibt es nur eine Lösung, um solche Arten von Problemen.
