Fotograf William Yang kam in Sydney in den frühen 70er Jahren, einer Zeit großen gesellschaftlichen Wandels. "Ich habe nie bewusst coming out als schwuler Mann, war ich fegte aus, die durch Ereignisse in der Zeit." Er hat gesehen, dass die Bildung eines schwulen Aktivisten der Kultur in den 70er Jahren, die Kommerzialisierung der gay-Szene in den 80er Jahren, und lebte durch die verheerenden Auswirkungen von AIDS in den frühen 90er Jahren. Mit unzähligen Bildern und sein Markenzeichen, ehrliche Erzählung, Yang führt uns aber diese betörende ära der sexuellen Entdeckung, Politik, Liebe und Verlust.
