Die Metropolitan Opera ist auf der Suche nach dem Seeungeheuer berichtet in der Zeitung Schlagzeilen, weil dieses monster singt wunderschön! Das "monster" ist eigentlich Willie, ein Wal, der singen kann in mehreren Stimmen gleichzeitig. Ein Freund von ihm, eine Möwe genannt Whitey, erzählt ihm von der Suche nach dem Schiff, und Willie geht zum Vorsprechen, wie es war sein Ehrgeiz zu erfüllen auf der Bühne. Leider, Professor Tetti Kontakte aus der Oper glaubt, dass ein oder mehrere Sänger wurden verschluckt von dem Wal, und gerettet werden müssen.
