Hoch oben, auf den höchsten Gipfeln der Erde, wächst eine Pflanze im glänzenden Sonnenschein. Ihr Name ist «die Blume des Himalaya». Yuku verlässt ihre Familie, um sich auf die Suche nach dieser Blume mit dem ewigen Licht zu machen. Sie will sie ihrer Großmutter schenken, die angekündigt hat, dass sie bald mit dem kleinen, blinden Maulwurf in die Erde ziehen wird. Doch um die Blume zu finden, muss sie eine lange Reise mit vielen Hindernissen zurücklegen. Aber dank ihrer Musik und ihrer Lieder findet Yuku auf ihrem Weg viele neue Freunde. Sie sind das wertvollste Gut, um die Abenteuer des Lebens zu bestehen.
