Dies ist der erste animierte film in die Anpassung der "Legends of the Galactic Heroes" auf dem Bildschirm. Diese Serie basiert auf einem sehr beliebten japanischen science-fiction-Roman-Serie mit dem gleichen Namen. Kurz, diese Geschichte ist mehrere tausend Jahre in der Zukunft, wenn die Menschheit hat sich auf Hunderten von Planeten. Das menschliche Universum gliedert sich in 2 Lager: Das Galaktische Imperium, welches eine autokratische semi-feudalen Gesellschaft, basierend auf den 18ten Jahrhunderts in Preußen, und die Freie Planeten Allianz, angefangen von Dissidenten und Exilanten aus dem Reich. Die beiden Kulturen wurden im Krieg für die letzten 150 Jahre, eingesperrt in einem ewigen Patt ähnlich des 1. Weltkrieges im Raum, mit inkompetenten Führung auf beiden Seiten. Dieser film erzählt die erste Begegnung von zwei Brillanten neuen Jungen Kommandanten, Admiral Reinhard von Musealen des Reiches, und Commodore Yang Wen-Li in der Allianz, sowohl von dessen Führung und taktische Genie erlauben, sich zu erheben über die Ressentiments von Ihren unfähigen Vorgesetzten, änderung der ...
